TL;DR. Appfigures publishes five self-serve tiers with real dollar figures on appfigures.com — Connect at $9.99/month (25 keywords, no daily rank updates) up to Amplify at $1,399.99/month — and you can read every number without talking to anyone. AppFollow’s pricing page, checked the same day, still routes to a “Talk to us” contact form with no tier names or prices on it. AppFollow’s own 2024 blog post (cross-checked again on 27 August 2026, unchanged since we last looked on 26 August) lists its cheapest paid tier, ASO, at $19/month for 2 apps and 500 keywords — but that figure isn’t confirmed on the live pricing page, so treat it as “last known” rather than current. Both tools cover the App Store and Google Play at every tier. Appfigures leans toward analytics and rank-tracking depth; AppFollow leans toward review and reputation management.
If you’re weighing “AppFollow vs Appfigures” because both keep turning up on the same ASO tool shortlists, the first thing to know is that only one of them will show you a price today. We checked appfollow.io/pricing and appfigures.com/pricing directly on 27 August 2026. Both vendors price in USD, so the figures below are directly comparable without conversion.
Which one publishes real pricing?
Appfigures does; AppFollow doesn’t, as of today. Appfigures’ pricing page lists five tiers with exact dollar amounts, keyword caps, and premium-competitor slots the moment you land on it. AppFollow’s pricing page is built around a “Talk to us” contact form and a “Try AppFollow for free” button — no tier names or dollar figures appear on the live page.
The closest thing to a public number for AppFollow is a July 2024 post on its own blog, “How to choose the right AppFollow plan,” which lists five tiers. We checked that post again on 27 August 2026 and its numbers haven’t moved since our 26 August check — so the structure looks current even though AppFollow’s own pricing page doesn’t surface it.
How much does each actually cost?
| AppFollow | Appfigures | |
|---|---|---|
| Live pricing page shows numbers? | No — contact form only (checked 27 Aug 2026) | Yes (checked 27 Aug 2026) |
| Free tier | Yes — 2 apps, 10 competitors, 7-day history | No permanent free tier — trial only, unlocks Optimize-level features temporarily |
| Entry paid tier | ASO — $19/month, billed yearly (last confirmed via AppFollow’s own blog, not the live pricing page) | Connect — $9.99/month |
| Entry tier limits | 2 apps, 500 keywords, 30 competitors, 30-day history | 5 apps, 25 keywords, 0 premium competitors, no daily rank updates |
| Tier for daily rank tracking | ASO tier already includes it | Monitor — $44.99/month, 100 keywords, adds daily rank updates |
| Mid tier | Essential — $179/month ($129/month billed yearly) | Optimize — $149.99/month, 500 keywords, 1 premium competitor, hourly updates |
| Top self-serve tier | Team — $599/month ($425/month billed yearly) | Amplify — $1,399.99/month, 2,500 keywords, unlimited premium competitors |
| Enterprise | Custom (contact sales) | Not a named tier — Amplify is the ceiling |
| Seats per tier | Unlimited users on every tier, per AppFollow’s blog post | Not published on the pricing page |
Two things stand out. First, Appfigures’ cheapest tier, Connect at $9.99/month, looks like the lowest number in this comparison — but it doesn’t include daily rank updates, which most developers actually need; the tier that does, Monitor at $44.99/month, is more than double AppFollow’s blog-listed ASO tier at the same 500-keyword ballpark. Second, AppFollow’s blog-listed tiers claim unlimited users at every level; Appfigures doesn’t publish a per-seat limit at all on its pricing page, so you’d need to check at signup if a multi-person team is the deciding factor.
What does each tool actually do?
AppFollow, per its own site and blog: keyword rank tracking and competitor monitoring, plus review-reply workflows, reply templates, sentiment tagging, and helpdesk integrations (Zendesk, Salesforce, Slack). It’s built for a team fielding review volume across iOS and Android, not just a solo developer checking rankings.
Appfigures, per its pricing page: download and revenue tracking, subscription analytics, ad-spend tracking, and keyword rank tracking from Connect upward, with daily updates starting at Monitor, hourly updates and competitor keyword tracking at Optimize, and Apple Ads Intelligence and market trend reports at the top two tiers. Review handling isn’t a named feature on any Appfigures tier the way it is for AppFollow — Appfigures is built around analytics and rank data first.
Neither tool’s tier descriptions mention writing a metadata change — title, subtitle, keyword field, or description — back to App Store Connect or Google Play Console. Both are research-and-monitoring layers; you still make the actual change yourself.
Does either cover Android as well as iOS?
Yes, both do, at every tier. AppFollow and Appfigures both track the Apple App Store and Google Play, so platform coverage isn’t the deciding factor here the way it is against an iOS-only tool.
Which one should a solo developer pick?
If review-reply volume isn’t your bottleneck and you want the lowest verifiable entry price for daily rank tracking, Appfigures’ Monitor tier ($44.99/month) is the one you can check on the live pricing page right now, without a sales call. Its Connect tier is cheaper ($9.99/month) but skips daily updates entirely, which makes it a download-analytics tool more than a rank-tracking one.
If you’re fielding real review volume — App Store and Play Store both — and reply automation, sentiment tagging, and helpdesk integrations would save you real time, AppFollow’s feature set is built for that job specifically, and its blog-listed ASO tier ($19/month) undercuts Appfigures’ Monitor tier on price for a comparable keyword count. Just budget for a sales conversation to confirm that number, since AppFollow’s live pricing page won’t quote it to you directly.
Which one should a growing studio pick?
If keyword volume and competitor depth are what you’re scaling into, Appfigures’ jump from Optimize ($149.99/month, 500 keywords) to Boost ($599.99/month, 1,000 keywords, unlimited Apple Ads Intelligence) is priced and documented on the page — you know exactly what the next tier buys before you commit. AppFollow’s equivalent jump, from Essential ($179/month per its blog figures) to Team ($599/month), buys more apps and keywords and a longer history window rather than the ad-intelligence and market-trend features Appfigures adds at the same price point.
If review management across a growing app portfolio is the actual job, AppFollow’s unlimited-seats claim (per its blog post) matters more as headcount grows than Appfigures’ unpublished seat policy.
What’s missing from both?
Direct App Store Connect write-back. Both tools tell you what’s ranking, what your competitors are doing, and (AppFollow specifically) what your reviewers are saying — but neither pushes a metadata change live. That’s the same scope gap we found comparing AppFollow and AppTweak and AppRadar and MobileAction: research and monitoring, not implementation.

The short version
- Want a price you can verify today without a sales call: Appfigures, $9.99/month Connect (or $44.99/month Monitor if you need daily rank updates)
- Review-reply volume and helpdesk integrations are your actual bottleneck: AppFollow — but budget for a sales conversation to get a current number
- Multi-person team, tight budget: AppFollow’s blog-listed tiers claim unlimited seats at every level; Appfigures doesn’t publish a seat limit at all
- Ad-intelligence and market-trend reporting matter: Appfigures’ Boost and Amplify tiers document exactly what you get at $599.99 and $1,399.99/month
- You want research to end in a live App Store Connect update, not a dashboard: neither tool does this today — check a tool built around that workflow, like Marteso
Where Marteso fits, and where it doesn’t
Full disclosure: Marteso is our product, so weigh this like any vendor’s self-description. Marteso tracks keywords against your connected App Store Connect data and generates AI-assisted suggestions for title, subtitle, keywords, and description that you review and apply yourself — it doesn’t push metadata changes live automatically, verified against marteso.com on 27 August 2026. Pricing is transparent on the site: a free Starter tier (1 app, 50 keywords, 3 competitor apps, daily rank updates) and Pro at €18 per app/month (500 keywords, unlimited competitor apps, AI metadata optimizer). It’s iOS-only, with no Google Play support, and it doesn’t have AppFollow’s review-reply-and-helpdesk workflow or Appfigures’ download-and-revenue analytics. If either of those is your actual bottleneck, one of today’s two tools is built for that job; if the job is tracking your own iOS rankings and drafting the next metadata change, Marteso is.
