TL;DR. Sensor Tower does not publish pricing anywhere on its site — every plan is quote-based through a demo request, confirmed by checking sensortower.com on 16 August 2026. Its core product, App Performance Insights, covers downloads, revenue, active users, keyword rankings, and search-ads data, but nothing for editing metadata, generating screenshots, or pushing changes to App Store Connect. If you want a number before you talk to sales, AppRadar and MobileAction publish tiers starting at €69/month and $15/month respectively, and Marteso has a free tier plus a €18-per-app/month Pro plan — all verified on their own sites the same day.
If you’ve searched “Sensor Tower pricing” or “how much does Sensor Tower cost,” you already know the frustrating part: there’s no number to find. We checked sensortower.com directly on 16 August 2026 to confirm this isn’t an oversight on our part — it’s how they sell.
How much does Sensor Tower actually cost?
There’s no published figure. The pricing page states plainly: “We customize pricing plans for each customer — get in touch to find your perfect fit.” The only path to a number is submitting a demo request and talking to sales.
That’s not unusual for enterprise software, but it matters if you’re an indie developer trying to compare options in an afternoon. Every other tool in this space that targets solo developers — Marteso, AppRadar, MobileAction — lists real tiers and prices on its site. Sensor Tower doesn’t, and that alone tells you who its sales motion is built for: teams with a budget owner and a procurement process, not a developer with a credit card.
What do you actually get for that money?
Sensor Tower’s homepage describes its core product, App Performance Insights, as covering “downloads, revenue, RPD; active users, sessions, and time spent; keyword rankings, app ratings and reviews, search ads, and more.” That’s a market-intelligence and analytics layer — it tells you what’s happening with your app and your competitors’ apps.
What it does not mention anywhere on its site: editing your title, subtitle, or keyword field; generating localized screenshots; or writing anything back to App Store Connect. Sensor Tower also sells separate modules — Advertising Insights, Gaming Insights, Pathmatics (ad-spend data), Audience Insights, Web Insights, and an MCP server — each apparently priced the same custom way. For an indie developer, the relevant question isn’t which of these modules is most impressive; it’s whether you need a research layer at all, or a tool that also acts on what it finds.
Why doesn’t Sensor Tower list prices?
Sensor Tower sells multiple products across enterprise and mid-market accounts, often bundled by seats, modules, and data volume rather than a flat per-app fee. Custom quoting is standard for that kind of sales motion. It’s not a red flag — it’s just a signal about who the buyer is expected to be, and it’s worth knowing before you spend an afternoon on a demo call to learn a number a €69/month competitor would have shown you upfront.
What should you check on the sales call, if you go ahead?
If Sensor Tower’s data depth is genuinely what you need, go in with specific questions rather than a general “what does it cost”:
- Which specific module(s) do you need — App Performance Insights alone, or bundled with Advertising or Audience Insights?
- Is pricing per app, per seat, or a flat account fee?
- Is there a minimum contract term, and is monthly billing available at all?
- Does the quote include historical data, or is that a separate add-on?
What are the transparent-pricing alternatives?
If you’d rather see a number before a sales call, three tools publish real tiers:
| Tool | Entry price (verified) | What you get at entry tier |
|---|---|---|
| Sensor Tower | Not published — quote only | Custom, depends on module(s) |
| MobileAction (ASO Intelligence, Lite) | $15/month | 100 keywords, 5 apps, 3-month history |
| AppRadar (Essentials) | €69/month | 500 keywords, 2 apps, review-reply management |
| Marteso (Starter) | €0 forever | 1 app, 50 keywords, daily rank updates, 3 competitor apps |
| Marteso (Pro) | €18 per app/month | 500 keywords, AI metadata optimizer, unlimited competitor tracking, App Store Connect integration |

None of these three replace Sensor Tower’s download and revenue estimates for other people’s apps — that’s a genuine gap if competitive market sizing is core to your job. But if what you actually need is to track your own keyword ranks, find gaps, and fix your own metadata, none of them require a sales call to find out what it costs.
Where Marteso fits, and where it doesn’t
Full disclosure: Marteso is our product, so weigh this like you would any vendor’s self-description. Marteso connects to App Store Connect directly, so keyword tracking, AI-assisted metadata suggestions, and localization to 20+ languages happen in the same place you’d act on them — verified against marteso.com and marteso.com/docs on 16 August 2026. It’s iOS-only and doesn’t do Sensor Tower’s third-party download or ad-spend estimates. If your job is competitive market intelligence across a portfolio of apps you don’t own, Sensor Tower’s scope is built for that in a way Marteso isn’t trying to match.
