TL;DR. Komori is a flat $19.99/month native macOS app with unlimited keyword tracking, but it’s iOS-only. MobileAction’s ASO Intelligence starts cheaper at $15/month (Lite) but caps you at 100 keywords, and its 500-keyword tier (Basic, $69/month) costs more than 3x Komori for a volume Komori doesn’t cap at all — though MobileAction also covers Google Play and Komori doesn’t. If you’re tracking one iOS app and don’t want to think about keyword limits, Komori wins on price. If you need Android coverage or multi-seat access, MobileAction is the only one of the two that offers it.

Komori and MobileAction aren’t usually mentioned in the same breath — Komori is a small, iOS-only native app; MobileAction is a broader ASO Intelligence platform with separate Apple Ads and ad-creative products bolted on. But they compete for the same budget line on an indie developer’s shortlist, which makes a direct comparison worth doing rather than burying both in a wider roundup.

Neither vendor makes Marteso, so there’s no reason to shade this one way or the other. Everything below is checked against komori.tech and mobileaction.co/pricing on 9 September 2026. Where a vendor doesn’t publish a number, we say so instead of guessing.

Which one is cheaper for tracking keywords?

It depends on how many keywords you’re tracking. MobileAction’s Lite tier undercuts Komori on sticker price ($15 vs $19.99/month), but it caps you at 100 keywords. Komori has no keyword cap at any price. Once you need more than 100 keywords, Komori is the cheaper option by a wide margin.

Past 500 keywords, the comparison gets stark: MobileAction’s Basic tier is $69/month for 500 keywords, while Komori is still $19.99/month for as many keywords as you want to add. MobileAction’s pricing scales with keyword volume, competitor count, and history retention; Komori’s doesn’t scale at all — one price, no ceiling.

What does each tool actually do?

Komori, per its own site: AI-tuned keyword suggestions (“Keyword Edge”), real-time rank tracking across 33 storefronts, competitor comparison (“Competitor Smackdown”), review analytics with AI sentiment scoring across 90+ countries, and a competitor-screenshot export tool. It’s a native macOS app distributed through the Mac App Store — there’s no web dashboard.

MobileAction (ASO Intelligence), per its pricing page: keyword research and rank tracking at every tier, with Basic adding advanced keyword grouping and competitor insights, and Pro adding organic download attribution and brand-vs-generic analysis. MobileAction separately sells CMP (Apple Ads campaign management, free up to $10,000/month ad spend) and Ad Intelligence (competitor ad-creative data) as standalone products outside ASO Intelligence.

Neither tool’s pricing page mentions editing your title, subtitle, or keyword field and pushing it live to App Store Connect — both are research-and-tracking products, not metadata-submission tools.

Does either one cover Android?

MobileAction does; Komori doesn’t. MobileAction’s own FAQ states ASO Intelligence “supports ASO workflows across both app stores.” Komori is built as a native macOS app focused on the App Store, with no mention of Google Play anywhere on its site. If any part of your portfolio ships on Android, Komori simply isn’t an option for that half of the business — you’d need a second tool regardless of price.

Which one publishes more about seats and team access?

MobileAction, by a clear margin. Its pricing page states seat counts per tier — 1 seat on Lite and Basic, 3 on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise. Komori’s pricing page doesn’t mention seat limits on its $19.99/month tier at all; the only tier that mentions team access is the custom Enterprise plan, described only as “team & company licensing” with no seat number attached. If you’re adding a second person to the account, Komori doesn’t give you a self-serve way to see whether or how that works — you’d need to ask.

Which one should a solo developer with one iOS app pick?

Komori, if you expect to track more than about 100 keywords — its $19.99/month flat price with no cap beats MobileAction’s Basic tier ($69/month for 500 keywords) once you’re past MobileAction’s Lite ceiling. If 100 keywords genuinely covers your app, MobileAction Lite is $5/month cheaper and adds competitor tracking and multi-app support Komori doesn’t tier by.

Which one should a growing studio pick?

MobileAction, mainly because Komori doesn’t publish a path to more apps, more seats, or Android coverage on a self-serve tier — you’d be contacting sales for any of that. MobileAction’s Pro tier ($239/month) gives you 10 apps, 3 seats, and 1,500 keywords on a published price, and its separate CMP product covers Apple Ads campaign management if that’s part of your acquisition mix.

What’s missing from both?

A self-serve way to write metadata changes back to App Store Connect. Komori and MobileAction both tell you what’s happening with your rankings and competitors; neither pushes a title, subtitle, or keyword field change live from inside the tool. That’s the same scope gap we found comparing AppTweak and MobileAction and Komori and Appfigures — research and monitoring, not implementation.

The short version

  • Unlimited keywords for one flat price: Komori, $19.99/month, no cap
  • Cheapest entry price: MobileAction Lite, $15/month, but capped at 100 keywords
  • Only one with Google Play coverage: MobileAction, per its own FAQ
  • Only one that publishes seat counts: MobileAction — 1/1/3 across Lite/Basic/Pro
  • Apple Ads campaign management as a separate free-up-to-$10K product: MobileAction, via CMP

Where Marteso fits, and where it doesn’t

Full disclosure: Marteso is our product, so weigh this like any vendor’s self-description. Marteso tracks keywords, generates AI-assisted suggestions for title, subtitle, keywords, and description, and — per its own docs, checked 9 September 2026 — lets you push approved suggestions directly to App Store Connect from a “Push to ASC” action, without manual copy-paste. Pricing is transparent on the site: a free Starter tier (2 apps, 50 keywords per app, 3 competitors per app, daily rank updates) and Pro at €18 per app/month (unlimited apps, 500 keywords, unlimited competitors, AI metadata optimizer). It’s iOS-only, with no documented Google Play support, and it doesn’t have MobileAction’s Apple Ads campaign management or ad-creative intelligence. If Android coverage or a dedicated ads product is your actual requirement, MobileAction is built for that; if the job is tracking iOS rankings and getting a metadata change live without leaving the tool, that’s what Marteso is built around.
