How we measure the numbers on our site

Every statistic Marteso publishes is defined here: what we count, how we count it, and what is excluded. Numbers are refreshed quarterly and the last-updated date is shown at the bottom of this page.

500+ mobile teams using Marteso

Definition. Unique paid and active free workspaces with at least one connected App Store Connect account and one keyword tracked in the most recent 90 days.

Source. Marteso internal billing and usage database.

Excluded. Workspaces created and abandoned within 7 days, internal test workspaces, and partner sandbox accounts.

Refresh cadence. Monthly. Number is rounded down to the nearest 100.

2.4M+ keywords tracked

Definition. The sum of unique (keyword × country) pairs being actively rank-tracked across all customer workspaces. A keyword tracked in 5 countries counts as 5.

Source. Marteso rank-tracking database, queried on the first business day of each quarter.

Excluded. Paused or archived keywords; keyword research queries that were never added to tracking.

Refresh cadence. Quarterly. Number is rounded down to the nearest 100,000.

180+ supported countries

Definition. Count of distinct App Store storefronts (ISO 3166 country codes) for which Marteso can collect keyword rankings, metadata, and reviews via the App Store Connect API and our scraping infrastructure.

Source. Apple's published list of App Store territories.

Excluded. Territories that Apple has discontinued or that no longer serve the App Store.

Refresh cadence. When Apple updates its territory list (typically 1–2 times per year).

+38% average organic growth after 60 days

Definition. Median (not mean) change in daily organic App Store impressions on the primary storefront between the 14 days immediately before a customer's first metadata change in Marteso, and the 14 days starting 46 days after that change. We use median because the distribution is heavily right-skewed.

Sample. Customers who (1) connected App Store Connect, (2) shipped at least one approved metadata suggestion through Marteso, and (3) had both pre- and post-60-day impression data available. Most recent calculation: 312 qualifying customers.

Source. Apple App Analytics impression data, accessed via App Store Connect API with each customer's authorization.

Excluded. Apps with fewer than 100 daily impressions pre-period (signal too noisy), apps that launched paid acquisition in the measurement window, and apps that shipped a version bump without metadata changes.

Caveat. This is observational, not a controlled experiment. Customers who ship metadata changes through Marteso are self-selected, and individual results vary widely (the 10th percentile is +3%, the 90th percentile is +180%).

Refresh cadence. Quarterly.
